--- title: Why Your Size Chart, Popup or Tab Is Not Showing description: Find the first checks for app access, product matching, missing popups, tabs and inline content, then follow the right PRIKID.APP guide. url: "https://prikid.app/docs/content-not-showing/" updated: "2026-10-14" category: Getting Started --- # Why Your Size Chart, Popup or Tab Is Not Showing Choose the symptom below, try the first checks, then follow the linked guide for the full procedure. **Opening the app** and **showing content on the storefront** are separate problems. ## The app cannot be opened, is blank or fails to load Check the intended BigCommerce store, then use **Apps → My apps → Launch**. Reopen once and record any error or loading progress. For a wrong-store/session problem, sign out of BigCommerce and sign back in to the intended store. If loading or synchronization remains stuck, contact support; there is no fixed waiting-time guarantee. For direct access to an existing account and password recovery, follow [Install PRIKID.APP on BigCommerce](https://prikid.app/docs/installation-to-the-bigcommerce-store/). Do not use uninstall/reinstall as a general troubleshooting step. ## If the app opens: check these before changing the theme - **Saved and published:** reopen the correct item. In Display options, confirm **Publish?** is on and the latest changes were saved with **Save & Publish**. If saving reports an error or publishing limit, follow the message and [Plans and Publishing Limits](https://prikid.app/docs/pricing/). - **Matching product:** open **Selection rules → Preview** and find the exact product. This Preview checks matching; Content Preview checks the layout. Neither proves storefront placement. - **Display mode:** confirm the saved mode matches the presentation you want: popup link/button, direct content, tab or both. General popups use the separate **Popups** editor. If a Preview link opens another domain or a 404, use the actual product URL and report both. Additional storefronts and Catalyst/headless integrations need a specific support check; installation does not prove every channel is supported. - **App and script:** check **App → Settings → Main settings → Enable the app?** and **Settings → Script installation**. If the script is present but blocked or failing, record the error for support. A number in the name does not populate MPN. Check the operator/value, selected tags, exclusions and AND/OR groups; use an unsaved, simpler rule to identify the restriction. A condition dropdown searches selectable values; “There are no items” is not the matching-products result. Check the selected store, product name/SKU and Selection rules → Preview. Recently changed products can be missing or stale in synchronized catalog data. For persistent gaps, follow [Target BigCommerce Products with Rules and Conditions](https://prikid.app/docs/creating-rules-to-filter-products-according-to-conditions/) and send support the missing product URL. ### The popup trigger, button or link is not visible **Size chart/content item:** confirm popup mode or both modes; direct-only display does not request a popup trigger. Check the visible insertion location using [Place the Size Chart Link Anywhere on a Product Page](https://prikid.app/docs/how-to-place-a-size-chart-link-elsewhere/) and the label/appearance using [Change Size Chart Link or Button Text and Style](https://prikid.app/docs/how-to-change-the-size-charts-link-button-text-and-style/). **General popup:** check that a button row exists and its XPath targets a real visible container. An automatic event alone creates no button; Off with no buttons provides no opening method. Use [Configure a General-Purpose Popup](https://prikid.app/docs/configure-general-purpose-pop-up/). ### The popup opens but its content is empty or wrong Open the intended item’s **Content → Preview**, check its saved blocks, then confirm this product in Selection rules → Preview and review overlapping items. A hardcoded theme link can remain without an assigned published chart. General-popup button rows open that popup’s same content. Look for a collapsed tab/accordion on mobile. Automatic insertion needs a recognized theme structure; changing the title/order does not create a missing tab container. Check that the content placeholder exists in the rendered active product template or saved description. The popup-button placeholder cannot receive inline content. Once-per-period uses a browser/host cookie; closing or refreshing does not clear it. Once-on-the-same-page concerns that page load. Wait for the period or compare a fresh private session that can load the widget. Button clicks bypass the automatic-event delay/frequency check. Review broad OR branches, exclusions, the chosen field and other items matching the same product. Save the intended rules, then check both live product URLs. Ask a theme developer to inspect the trigger/content **and its parents** for hidden or collapsed regions, overflow, mobile rules and overlays blocking clicks. Confirm the edited stylesheet actually loads on the live storefront. Include: - **Store URL and exact affected product URL**, including the target storefront/channel; add a working product URL if available. - **Item name, type and published state**, the saved display mode, and what you expected to see. - **Whether Selection rules → Preview shows the product**; attach screenshots of the rules, Preview result and Display options. If the app cannot open, say Preview is unavailable. - **A screenshot of the failure** and reproduction steps; say whether desktop, mobile or both are affected and which browser/device you used. - **Theme name/version and relevant customizations** for placement, tab, inline or styling problems. - **The exact error/message** (or state that none appears), approximate time/timezone, recent changes and checks already tried. For repeat-popup problems, include the event/delay/period and fresh-session result. Do not send passwords, API keys or unrelated customer/order data.
