# Install PRIKID.APP on BigCommerce

Install PRIKID.APP from the BigCommerce App Marketplace, review and approve access to the intended store, then open the app from your control panel. Once it opens, continue to the [Add a Size Chart, Popup or Tab to Product Pages](https://prikid.app/docs/adding-a-pop-up-or-size-chart-to-product-pages/) guide to create your first item.

Select a screenshot to enlarge it. On a phone, tap the opened image to zoom and drag to read wide screens. The screenshots below show the current Marketplace and a BigCommerce sandbox; your store name and existing content will differ.

## Before you start

- Sign in to the **BigCommerce store you want to connect**. Use the store owner account or an account with the necessary app-installation and launch permissions. If the app or installation controls are unavailable to a staff user, ask the store owner to check access; see [BigCommerce user permissions](https://support.bigcommerce.com/s/article/User-Permissions?language=en_US).
- Check your storefront type. The current Marketplace warns that PRIKID may not be fully compatible with **multi-storefront**. Additional storefronts, custom themes and headless/Catalyst setups need a compatibility check with support. Installing the app in the control panel does not prove that its content will appear on every channel. ## 1. Find PRIKID.APP in the Marketplace

Open the [PRIKID.APP Marketplace listing](https://www.bigcommerce.com/apps/prikid-size-charts/). Its current name is **PRIKID.APP - Size charts | Popups | Tabs**. You can also open **Apps → App marketplace** in your BigCommerce control panel and search for **PRIKID**. Open the PRIKID listing, rather than a similarly named app.

## 2. Choose the store and open its installation page

On the public listing, click **Get This App**. If BigCommerce shows the page below, choose **Existing BigCommerce store → Log in**, then sign in using your BigCommerce account. Choose the intended store if a store selector appears. If you are already signed in, you may go directly to the store’s installation page.

Choose Log in for an existing store. The Sign up option creates a BigCommerce store; it is not a required PRIKID registration step.

In the control panel, check the store name at the top left and the PRIKID app name. Review the installation information and terms, then click **Install** when you are ready to connect this store.

## 3. Review and confirm access

BigCommerce then displays an access confirmation screen. Read the permissions, provider terms and privacy policy on **your current screen**. In the verified sandbox flow, it listed access to view and modify site content, view basic store configuration settings, view general store information and settings, and view products. It also stated that the app cannot access your password. Permission wording can change; use the screen shown to you as the authority.

Click **Confirm** only if the store, app and requested access are correct and you agree to the terms. PRIKID uses this BigCommerce authorization to create or reconnect the app account and store connection. You do not need to create a separate PRIKID account before the normal Marketplace installation. If you cancel or leave this step, the connection may remain incomplete.

## 4. Wait for setup, then open PRIKID from the control panel

Allow setup to finish. You may see **Installing the app…** followed by **Products synchronization** while PRIKID loads catalog information such as products, brands and categories. Keep the app open until the loading dialog clears. Completion time varies; a success message does not mean that a chart has been created or checked on the storefront.

To reopen the app later, go to **Apps → My apps**. Find **PRIKID.APP - Size charts | Popups | Tabs**, open its **More actions** menu (three dots), and choose **Launch**. You can also use the PRIKID entry beneath Apps in the side navigation when it is available.

If you need to remove PRIKID.APP, follow [Cancel Renewal or Uninstall PRIKID.APP](https://prikid.app/docs/cancel-renewal-and-uninstall/). Stopping WayForPay renewal and uninstalling the BigCommerce app are separate actions.

## 5. Understand the dashboard and create your first item

After loading completes, PRIKID opens its dashboard inside BigCommerce. You will see **Size charts and content items** and **Popups**. A store with no saved items starts with an empty list. A returning store may show its existing items, as this sandbox does; those examples are not content automatically created for every new installation.

- **Size chart, size-guide popup, inline content or product tab:** select **Size charts and content items → Add new content item**. A size guide that opens when a shopper clicks its link belongs here.
- **General popup:** select **Popups → Add new pop-up**. This is the starting point for event-triggered popups and popup buttons.

Installation connects the app; your first shopper-facing chart, popup or tab still needs to be configured and published. ## Troubleshooting installation and access

- **Install or Launch is missing:** check that you are in the intended store and ask the owner to verify your app permissions. If PRIKID is already installed, use My apps → Launch rather than installing another copy.
- **Authorization fails or the wrong store opens:** record the exact message, check the store name, then sign out of BigCommerce and sign back in to the intended store. Reopen PRIKID from that store’s My apps list. This is useful when several store sessions are open, but it is not a diagnosis of every authorization error.
- **Failed to load app, a blank panel or synchronization that never finishes:** reopen PRIKID once from My apps and check whether there is a visible error or progress change. If it persists, [contact PRIKID support](https://support.prikid.app/new-ticket) with the store URL and screenshot. Support may need to inspect the connection or initial catalog synchronization. Do not repeatedly uninstall/reinstall or assume a fixed waiting time will resolve it.
- **Login prompt, 419 or browser-specific failure inside BigCommerce:** compare with another current browser and note any cookie, privacy-tool or blocked-content messages. A 419 error alone does not prove the cause. Do not disable browser security globally or bypass a certificate/security warning.
- **PRIKID opens but no chart appears on a product:** complete the [Add a Size Chart, Popup or Tab to Product Pages](https://prikid.app/docs/adding-a-pop-up-or-size-chart-to-product-pages/) workflow, then check published state, matching products, display mode and the intended storefront. App login and storefront placement are separate checks; use the [placement and theme guide](https://prikid.app/docs/how-to-place-a-size-chart-link-elsewhere/) for the latter.

**Direct access for an existing account:** the [PRIKID login page](https://sizecharts.prikid.app/login) provides **Forgot Your Password?**. Use the email associated with the PRIKID account and its PRIKID password, not an assumption that your BigCommerce password is the same. If you normally launch through BigCommerce and do not know the PRIKID account email, ask support to identify the connection. Password recovery is for an existing account, not a substitute for installing and authorizing the app.

When you [contact PRIKID support](https://support.prikid.app/new-ticket), include your store URL, exact error, screenshot, approximate time and timezone, browser/device, whether Install/Confirm completed, whether loading progress changes, and whether another browser or staff account can open the app. Include the affected channel/product URL for storefront-only issues. Do not send passwords, authorization links/codes, API tokens or unredacted customer data.
